This internal listing highlights the notable people who contribute to the project.
Another reason for the page is to notify the community that these Wikipedians are potential autobiographers, with the risks that entails for NPOV in articles relating to them and their work.
By precedent, it lists people who have a Misplaced Pages article about them and who have also made one or more edits to Misplaced Pages, even if only relating to the article about themself or their work or even simply to create a user page. It replaces Category:Wikipedians with article, which had the disadvantage of being self-referential and not indicating the usernames of those listed.
