Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT, Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Bhaile Átha Luain in Irish) formerly Regional Technical College, Athlone is one of the original network of Regional Technical Colleges; it was built in Athlone, Ireland. The institution was established in 1970 and upgraded to an Institute of Technology in 1998.

The institution offers a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses: National Certificates, National Diplomas and academic degrees. The institution offers the only polymer degree course in Ireland.
