I just goofed

And blocked you by mistake, when my intention was to block Rab Eyye, a vandalism only account. I think I managed to unblock you immediately. I hope this mistake on my part is never used against me. Let me know if there is any other remedy I can make. Sorry, Slrubenstein | Talk 16:04, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, File:Abc waco billboard.jpg, has been listed at Misplaced Pages:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Help!

Hi Royboy, I've got a Misplaced Pages related query and I wasn't sure who to ask so I thought I'd just write to the first admin. I've listed an article for deletion for a few reasons. I think everything is on track, but could you just check everything is on track and I have correctly filed for deletion? The article is here http://en.wikipedia.org/Bryan_Sinclair. Cheers --Bobtheretrospoodledor (talk) 10:10, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Profanity

Please refrain from personal attacks and using profanity like this on article talk pages. It makes people feel unwelcome and disrespected. WhatamIdoing (talk) 05:00, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Les Henderson

The article Les Henderson has been listed for deletion. As you have been involved in editing the (recently also deleted) section Talent scouting scandal on Lou Pearlman you may be interested in the deletion discussion. If you are, please participate by adding your comments at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Les Henderson (2nd nomination). Thank you. --WeatherFug (talk) 00:47, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Quantum Darwinism

Hello! I wonder if you know who was the one so start this article because I have translated it into German and wanted the author to know. If you could drop me a few lines considering this topic, this would be great.OlgaMats (talk) 07:52, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Caroline Moreau

I have nominated Caroline Moreau, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Misplaced Pages's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Caroline Moreau. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Message regarding your use of the No Multi License Template

In case you are not aware, the Wikimedia Foundation has proposed that the copyright licensing terms on the wikis operated by the WMF – including Misplaced Pages – be changed to include the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license in addition to the current GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) as allowed by version 1.3 of the GFDL. The community has approved this change with 75.8% in favor, and on June 15, 2009, the change will take effect.
You currently have {{NoMultiLicense}} on your user or user talk page, which states that your edits are licensed under the GFDL only. On or before June 15, this template will be changed to reflect Misplaced Pages's new licensing terms. If you accept the licensing change, you do not need to do anything (and feel free to remove this message); if you do not accept it, we regret that you will no longer be able to contribute to the encyclopedia. Please join the discussion at Misplaced Pages:Village pump (policy)#NoMultiLicense template if you have any comments.

Lead edit

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that this edit broke one of the images in this high traffic article. Wizard191 (talk) 22:10, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:BreastCancer ChrisKahlenborn.gif)

Thanks for uploading File:BreastCancer ChrisKahlenborn.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:49, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Humans vs Extremophile, ...Habitability

Because of your edits at "Space and survival" I thought you might be interested in making a resonable distinction between what planet environments bacteria can survive and what planet environments people can inhabit:

Having difficulty finding the time to wrap up the article. If you are interested, your help would be appreciated.
There are plenty of references at the talk page, it's just a matter of digging for quotes.

Association fallacy

  • 04:24, 22 January 2008 RoyBoy protected Association fallacy ‎ (Persistent vandalism with controversial examples )

I've started a review of this old semiprotection to see if it's still required. See talk:Association fallacy. --TS 05:57, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Chronic fatigue syndrome and XMRV

Hi,

Thank you for your edits and consideration. It is a complex subject with many differing opinions published about it. Fresh editors to help define and refine NPOV consensus are always helpful to the article. Ward20 (talk) 17:38, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Kind note about ANI

Hi, Roy. Just dropping you a kind note to remind you that when you open threads about other users on ANI you have to remember to let them know of it. No harm done- I've gone ahead of notified them. Smiles! Basket of Puppies 04:08, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

did not remove said information

Sir, I did not remove such information and would appreciate it if you did not blindly accuse me of having done so. Perhaps this IP address contains more users than you think. In the future, please take this into account. Thanks, 71.126.232.161 (talk) 23:05, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
