Mary Daly's death
Mary Hunt sent this email through the Water list for members of Feminist Studies In Religion, Inc.:
"With a heavy heart, yet grateful beyond words for her life and work, I report that Mary Daly died this morning, January 3, 2010 in Massachusetts. She had been in poor health for the last two years.
Her contributions to feminist theology, philosophy, and theory were many, unique, and if I may say so, world-changing. She created intellectual space; she set the bar high. Even those who disagreed with her are in her debt for the challenges she offered.
When I return from vacation at week's end I will post more. But I want WATER colleagues, of which she was a stalwart one, to know this now. She always advised women to throw our lives as far as they would go. I can say without fear of exaggeration that she lived that way herself.
May her spirit soar and her ideas endure.

Deleted External Links
Malik,
Hi, I was wondering if you could explain why the external links I added to a number of articles have been deleted. I have read through the Misplaced Pages link guidelines and am still confused as to why the links have been removed.
They seem to contribute valuable, unique and relevant content to the articles. They are not sales links, affiliate links, blatant advertising or irrelevant, at least from what I can see. If I am mistaken (and it seems that I must be) please advise as to how I can be a better contributor to the Wiki community.
Thanks for your help.

- You appear to be ignoring previous advice given to you, so your comments here seem disingenuous. The reply on my talk page still applies and is copied here:
- By adding links to cityrealty.com across multiple articles your actions are exactly those of a spammer promoting this site. The link fails WP:ELNO #5 and as your contributions have been to do little but promote this site since you created your account you may find the guidance of WP:COI helpful in case you are affiliated with Real Estate On-Line.

Here is Sandstein's reponse
. How do you suggest we proceed now? Tiamut 21:12, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for trying Malik Shabazz, I really do appreciate it. I'm not sure I can le the whole thing drop now. I'm waiting to hear from Nableezy before going ahead with an appeal, and for some feedback from Gatoclass, whose opinion I hold in high regard. I do think there have been some similar complaints regarding Sandstein in the past: , , . So I think an RfC might actually be appropriate, but perhaps ANI first? I don't know, but thanks for your thoughts. Tiamut 22:03, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
