Mayfair Middle/High School is located in Lakewood, California, as part of the Bellflower Unified School District (BUSD). Mayfair is a combination middle school and high school, having students from grades seven through twelve.

Mayfair is recognized as a "California Distinguished School" and as a "Blue Ribbon" school—one of the highest awards a high school in the United States can obtain. In 2001, Mayfair received the Golden Bell award from the California School Board Association for their Fine Arts Program.
The school mascot is the "Mayfair Monsoon"—illustrated as a tornado. The school colors are blue and white. The monthly school newspaper is the Windjammer. Mayfair sports teams have won several state championships and regularly participate in playoffs.
Mayfair is a very culturally and ethnically diverse school. Its students hail from a variety of religions, practices, and beliefs.
