Population densities for New York City boroughs
Hi, and welcome to Misplaced Pages.
I created the table for New York borough areas and populations because without the most basic facts, it's hard to compare the boroughs without using far too many confusing words. Someone else converted that table to a separate Template:NYC boroughs, which is why you weren't able to edit the table directly. I've explained the reasons why I haven't yet added density columns, desirable as they might be, at Template talk:NYC boroughs#Population densities. Your thoughts and comments there would certainly be welcome.
I think the densities are listed at Demographics of New York City.
If you'd like to play around with the tables, you can experiment on one of my user pages, User:Shakescene/sandbox6; just copy one of the tables (without changing it) and start a new subsection for your own tries. However, the population estimates aren't the most recent, and the template is much more complex than my original table (it changes colors to match the highlighted map in each borough article), so don't just paste the results straight into the borough articles or the template. If you need to know more about how to edit a table, please don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome to Misplaced Pages, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Talk:Michael E. Mann. However, please be aware of Misplaced Pages's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Misplaced Pages page, must include proper sources. Thank you. If you can't be civil, or cannot differentiate between your personal opinion, and what can be reliably sourced. Then you will continue to get your comments removed.
WP:BLP is a central policy on Misplaced Pages, and breaching it is not allowed. Also please attempt not to use Misplaced Pages as a soapbox, and talk solely about improving the article, in a civil way. Kim D. Petersen (talk) 23:22, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
