Author Services Inc. (ASI) is a literary agency that represents only one author, the late Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scientology shell corporation Religious Technology Center.
ASI was incorporated in the state of California on October 13, 1981. ASI pays a substantial portion of its income to the Church of Spiritual Technology, a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation also based in California. ASI managed Mr. Hubbard's personal, business and literary affairs until 1986. After Hubbard’s death, ASI continued to represent his literary and musical works including the administration of the Writers and Illustrators of the Future contests. ASI also sells book cover prints and special editions.
The company represents Hubbard's fiction work, while his Scientology-related writings are represented by Bridge Publications.
