The Hunger Games trilogy is an adventure/science fiction series written by Suzanne Collins. The trilogy consists of The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and the upcoming Mockingjay, which will be released on August 24, 2010.

The first two books were each The New York Times best sellers.
