It looks like you asked a few folks in this regards. I am most certainly also available, but it looks like Tnxman307 above has replied to your query as well. It looks like you have made some edits to wikipedia already and have figured out some of the wiki mark up language.SriMesh | talk 00:05, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I would have loved to adopt you, but it seems that Tnxman already has, so you don't need another adoptee! In any case, I'm very busy these days, so I'm often idle from Misplaced Pages. Just a hint, though: Learning from SriMesh is learning from the best! --Qmwne235 02:53, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Ryan Flynn
The placeholder for the Ryan Fynn article shows it has been deleted five times in the past and mostly on the grounds that he failed WP:BIO, which would required him to have played in a fully professional league. He has, however, not achieved that since the last deletion of the article as the Conference is only a semi-pro league. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 13:20, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Bradden Inman
Everything I see says he wants it but has not been capped by Scotland at any level. Can you point me in the right direction?Cptnono (talk) 03:56, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- Nothing wrong with being a little biased on this one! I read that he was capped by Australia's U-21 but wants to be capped by Scotland. The profile on the official site does not say either way and it looks like he has the Australian flag on the reserves wikipedia article. I'll poke around more because it doesn't hurt my feelings at all if I am wrong regarding this.Cptnono (talk) 17:08, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- If only I could be so lucky. Think I have a great grandfather (or maybe even another generation removed) from there but that is about it. One little flag isn't too big of a deal on the page so hopefully he'll play some games for Scotland so we can be done with it.Cptnono (talk) 18:18, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm actually from Seattle but have been following Newcastle since about '02 when I used to do business with a guy from out there. I know it is a little weird. By the way, it was just changed back from an IP in Hong Kong. Cptnono (talk) 19:55, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- The only reference I can find (and I agree it's not too reliable is nufc.com (not the official site at nufc.co.uk) which "helpfully" has "Australian (Scotland)", but does give his place of birth as Adelaide. Tonywalton 20:32, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- It's always perplexing, when a player is born in one country but has played for another - there doesn't seem to be any clarity about what the flags actually mean! Chris Hughton's flag was bouncing about between Ireland and England for a while on the NUFC article while he was caretaker manager; again, he was born in one country (England) but played for Ireland. Shola Ameobi's entry seems fairly stable now; though Nigerian-born he has an England flag in the squadlist, having played for England at U21 level. I have no preference either way, but it's worth noting that people putting an AUS flag on Inman's entry aren't necessarily vandalising it. What's really needed is some consensus on whether the flag means "birth nationality", "national affiliation if different", or what! Cheers, Tonywalton 23:03, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Mike Vasovski
A tag has been placed on Mike Vasovski requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 22:28, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

This is the third time I have reverted your unsubstantiated edits. You cannot simply revert reliably sourced edits without any kind of discussion. I'm not sure why you're even reverting my edits but I certainly hope it's not because you think they are paleoconservative and not right-wing. That would be original research and therefore inadmissible as information for this page. My edits are fully referenced by academic sources and, as such, are valid. Please stop edit warring, it's against Misplaced Pages policy and degrades the quality of the article and is simply very rude. I look forward to making this and other articles better with you in the future. Sparrowhawk64 (talk) 02:55, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia! In case you are not already aware, an article to which you have recently contributed, George Monbiot, is on article probation. A detailed description of the terms of article probation may be found at Misplaced Pages:General sanctions/Climate change probation. Also note that the terms of some article probations extend to related articles and their associated talk pages.
