Dmitry, Dmitri, Dimitry or Dimitri is a male given name. It is the Russian version of the Greek name Demetrius or follower of Demeter, the Greek goddess of the corn and harvest. Dmitry is an orthodox name, attributed to Saint Demetrios, the guardian saint of Thessalonika.
