Redonda is an uninhabited island dependency of Antigua and Barbuda. It is also a micronation called the Kingdom of Redonda. This state was declared in 1865 by Matthew Dowdy Shiell, who had his son, M. P. Shiel, crowned King Felipe in 1880.
