==Yes! Let's discuss this!== ==Nice Job!==
I'd like to say that you guys did a nice job on the Shamrock page. Keep up the good work! ] (]) 02:19, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
as "collectonian" has apparently elected herself as the "sole owner" of this entry, I am a person who has worked with the Federal Communications Commission for very nearly 30 years, now. I would like to know, for what reason, wikipedia seems to be "hell-bent" on keeping KBKH-FM, the radio station in Shamrock, Texas, from being mentioned even when it is done in a completely non-promotional manner?

:Thanks :) Hoping to add more history and stuff when I can look in some of our local sources since there isn't much online about the city. ] (]) 02:46, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I see media links in most articles on other cities but, for some reason, here we have a single "article owner" who swoops in like a hawk and blatantly attacks any person who mentions the mere existence of a legeitimate media outlet? Something is wrong, here.

I am posting the entry in question below. How is it (in any way at all) "promotional"? Can anyone PPLEASE tell me this? I am seeing nothing here more than simple, easy to prove FACTS. Is this not what wikipedia is all about instead of promotion of one self-appointed "guardian's" point of view when they contradict the facts? This station does indeed exist. I heard it this morning, myself.

The entry (worded EXACTLY as posted) is below:

==Media==

*Shamrock is home to one local FM radio station: ] Mix 92.9 (92.9 FM) , which is the areas only local local FM radio station.

Merger of City and District Articles

Oppose. Under Texas law, school district boundaries do not necessarily coincide with city or county boundaries. Also, the two are separate legal entities with separately elected officials. 160.147.240.6 (talk) 19:59, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Being separate legal entities with separately elected officials isn't a reason not to merge. The merge was proposed as this is a very small town with a very small school district. The district article will likely remain a stub and if AfDed would end up being merged anyway. Collectonian (talk) 20:23, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Many McLean students go to school in the Shamrock school district. Oppose. 70.253.74.91 (talk) 19:25, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

What's your point there? It is still the Shamrock school district. -- ] (] · ]) 20:49, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
