March 2010

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Misplaced Pages pages, as you did to Shamrock, Texas. Advertising and using Misplaced Pages as a "soapbox" is against Misplaced Pages policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Misplaced Pages. Thank you.Template:Do not delete -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 14:17, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Misplaced Pages, as you did to Shamrock, Texas. Misplaced Pages is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Misplaced Pages uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.Template:Do not delete -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 17:30, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to User talk:Collectonian. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing.   — Jeff G. ツ 17:42, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

This is the final warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Shamrock, Texas. If you vandalize Misplaced Pages again, you will be blocked from editing. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 18:01, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

You have been blocked for a period of 24 hours from editing for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below; but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

24.197.27.85 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Please provide a reason as to why you should be unblocked.
Change {{unblock}} to {{unblock | reason=your reason here ~~~~}}

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=original unblock reason |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=original unblock reason |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=original unblock reason |accept = accept reason here ~~~~}}

Verification of everthing collectonian disagrees with is available at the foloowing New York times article: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/15/national/15prosecutor.html?_r=1 and, I submit again that there is some "political" motivation to this continued censorship of facts. Or, are you going to now tell me the New York Times is "an attack instrument" as it parrots - almost EXACTLY - the information posted on the website of the local radio station?
