Sorry, sorry! I've been really busy around New Year's, but the fact that I didn't respond doesn't mean I won't ever... So, as for your questions, yes, go ahead and ask me questions about anything on my talk page, and I'll get back to you as quick as possible. If you want it done privately, you could use ], or whichever user you want to contact. And, about my guestbook, go ahead and sign again...just make sure to save. :) Cheers, ]] 01:39, 6 January 2010 (UTC) |

== Anti-vandalism == |

Hey, it's me, your adopter. I noticed that you have been doing a lot of vandalism fighting. You might be interested in applying for the rollback right. With that right, you can revert vandalism (and ONLY vandalism) with just clicking a button that says "rollback". You can learn more ]. If you get rollback rights, you can use the program ], which is a nice tool, which scrolls through recent changes of IPs and unconfirmed users. You can revert and warn the user with just one click. It is quick and easy anti-vandalism work, and I thought you might be interested. If you have questions, feel free to ask! ]] 02:46, 28 January 2010 (UTC) |

::Hey, sorry...I've just been trying to figure things out on Wiki by exploring around. I was wondering, how does the rollback thing work exactly? I need Huggle, right? I am trying to download it but it is saying "Captcha required to log in." After I get that, is it just a button I press or what? --] 02:14, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |

:::Just to jump in here as i have the arbiters page on my watchlist, when you were granted the rollback flag (we seem to be granting it alot these days) you should have been instructed on how to use the tool correctly. Was this not done? The tool access is required for Huggle usage however unless you know how to correctly use the rollback tool i would strongly recommend using twinkle instead (i love twinkle alot easier to use). I would recommend foremost before u start using rollback to look at page. Rollback is a powerful tool that should only be used by experienced and trusted users who know how to use it. My apologies if i seem like i am criticising your ability as an editor. i am more shocked that rollback was granted without you receiving training and knowladge on how to use it. It is a very helpful tool and i hope after u get some practice with it, u will be kicking some vandal ass. I would suggest creating a sandbox of your own and testing/playing around with it to understand it. Feel free to ask me anything also ]] 02:40, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |

::::Hi ZooPro, thank you for your input! In the past month of being an editor, I've done a fair share of reverting vandalism and such. I've just been doing it by hand. Like, I will search through "Recent changes", use the UNDO option, then write on the user's wall using the . Does Twinkle make it any easier to do? Also, I vaguely looked into using Twinkle (installing it, etc) but I was semi-confused. Also, I asked for Rollback privilege since I've been reverting a lot of vandalism, and TheArbiter let me know that Rollback/Huggle makes it easier. Also, I was planning on practicing before enforcing it. :) Thank you for your feedback. --] 03:53, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |
:::::Twinkle is perfect for what you want to do. It pretty much does everything for you, there is no need to patrol through message temps as twinkle has them ready for you to apply. You still have to actually open the article and look at the history (unlike rollback , rollback is used directly from recent changes) however this is a much easier system it then opens the users talk page in edit mode so you can apply a warning temp (the twinkle page explains how this works) once you get the hang of it you will breeze through it, you can enable twinkle in your user preferences. Hope this helps. ]] 04:28, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |

::::::Thank you! I just added Twinkle. I did not realize that it automatically adds it after I check the box for Twinkle under my Gadgets tab of My Preferences. I noticed the addition of Rollback and Rollback (vandal) when editing. Do I still need to write on the user's talk page if I rollback their stuff, or does Twinkle do it for me? Thanks again!! --] 04:40, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |
:::::::Thanks ZooPro. :) As for Twinkle, I haven't ever used it, since I am a Huggle fanatic. But, here's a quick lesson on rollback. |
::::::*Rollback is ONLY FOR VANDALISM...not for good faith edits. |
::::::*If some vandal guy made, say, ten vandalisms in quick succession, it would be tedious to undo each one. Clicking rollback will revert all ten. |
::::::*Huggle automatically gives a warning to the user pages after reverting. I'm not sure why it won't let you log in, however. |
:::::::So, basically, a great vandal fighting tool. I'll let ZooPro explain Twinkle to you... ]] 17:50, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |

::::::::Hi, The Artbiter. I understood the only for vandalism part about Huggle and that you can revert all of the person's successive vandalisms. I read the link you sent me about Huggle when you originally told me about it. Like, I understood the point of rollback, but my questions were mainly about downloading it. I had issues when I tried to download it. What does ""Captcha required to log in" mean? --] 18:27, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |
:::::::::It doesn't require installation. Just save the exe file on your computer. I'm not sure what the Captcha thing means... ]] 18:43, 31 January 2010 (UTC) |
