Sheba Akhtar
I was about to put a speedy on Sheba Akhtar when I noticed that you had removed the speedy that you had earlier put there. The article seems like a resume of someone who is not very notable. Can you explain? Thanks. Peter Chastain (talk) 11:14, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- I put the speedy on but then did a quick look around and there seems to be some stuff about her. It's a terrible article but I'm not sure what it would be speediable as. I originally put A7 but there is an assertion of notability. I guess a G11 would be OK as a resume only promotes someone, but I'm not sure if that applies to people. As a result of an arbitration case, the Arbitration Committee has acknowledged long-term and persistent problems in the editing of articles related to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, broadly understood. As a result, the Committee has enacted broad editing restrictions, described here and below.
- Any uninvolved administrator may, on his or her own discretion, impose sanctions on any editor working in the area of conflict if, despite being warned, that editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Misplaced Pages, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process.
