Jordin Brianna Sparks (born December 22, 1989) is an American singer and actress from Phoenix, Arizona. Born to parents Phillippi Sparks (a former NFL football player) and Jodi Wiedmann-Sparks, Jordin was born multiracial. She has a younger brother named PJ (Phillippi Sparks, Jr.).
Jordin has acted in many plays, including recently starring as both characters Deborah and Bea in Magdalene at the Plumline Theater in Franklin, Tennessee.
She has auditioned for the Apollo Theater and Star Search in 2003 before appearing in America's Most Talented Kids twice in 2004; Winning in her first appearence. She lost to rock-violinist Antonio Pontarelli in a special championship edition of the show.
She is also a national anthem soloist, performing for various sports events such as the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Cardinals and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
She has sang among such celebrities as Alice Cooper in his Christmas show in 2004 and most recently with Michael W. Smith on his Christmas tour.
Jordin recorded an album titled For Now in 2003, a five-song album at the age of thirteen with Matthew Ward, a legendary Christian music artist and Gary Leach, an engineer who has worked on several of
LeAnn Rimes' albums.
Jordin is currently home-schooled. She is a huge fan of football, reading, music and church.
