	The university undergoes short courses in every Language discipline it offers, in addition it offers leading to P.HD undergraduate and graduate degree in all languages,MS,IT and social sciences studies. The university offers M.S and P.HD degree in nine disciplines namely Arabic,Chinese,Education,French,German,Management Sciences, Computer Sciences, Islamic Studies,Persian and Urdu.

	NUML hasbeen honoured to host and run the chinese confucious institute by Pak-China agreement in April 2005.This is the only Chinese training institute in Pakistan where the chinese language profeciency tests(HSK hanyu shuipiny kaoshi),chinese on-job,pre-job training and preparation of HSK test is offered.In addition it also offers short Chinese kong-fu,sword combat and martial arts cultural training.

	* Auditorium
	The main Campus in Islamabad hosts three air conditioned state of the art auditoriums with pre installed sound systems for conferences,seminars and student so-curricular activities.All the regional campuses are also equipped with one state of the art auditorium.

	* Network and computing facilities
	NUML has modern computing facilities with more then 700 work stations loaded with latest operating systems and operating Packages. All the blocks are interconnected with fiber optic cable.The university is equipped with 16MB internet connection round the clock.Nine computer labs are opened for university students.

	* E-Learning facility
	The university is equipped with one basic electronic laboratory for fulfilling requirement of engineering students,a digital and micro controller laboratory is also in the process of being established.A video conferencing facility is available for sharing of lectures, seminars and conferences with other universities.Five different types of language learning laboratories are well equipped for enhancing the students audiovisual abilities.

	* FM104.6 nUmL cAlLiNg
	NUML runs it,s own educational channel of 104.6 frequency under the call signal "NUML CALLING".The channel is intended to create an ambiance and aura of academic,intellectual,artistic,literary and research pursuits by projecting curricular and co-curricular activities of the university in the broader perspective of Pakistan.The radio station is equipped to provide to the students of mass-communication department in their various related field works.
	* Nazir Library
	The two storied centrally air-conditioned Library provides 12 hours access to over 150,000 books periodicals and journals on various subjects.It was founded in 1970 and can accommodate 500 students at a time.It is one of the largest libraries of the public sector libraries in the country.

	* UN Reference Library
	Recently the United Nations System in Pakistan has shifted reference library with over 15, 000 titles on various subjects to the premises of Central Library of NUML.The library is open to all researchers and academicians from across the country and abroad.The catalogue is available online :

	A two storied cafetaria building having space for 500 persons caters for refreshments needs of the students with all the branded and hygienic eatables at reasonable rates.

	*Sports and recreation
	The university has a sports section which arranges different sports activities round the year.A new facility of multiple sports complex gymnasium is constucted .This huge faciltity also encourages girls students to participate in different games in better environment.NUML sports teams comprise of Pakistani as well as foreign students thus creating an aura of International harmony in the world of sports.

	Accomodation has always been an acute problem for students coming from outside Islamabad.NUML has the facility available on the campus.It has five hostels.Two for boys,one for girls,one for foreign students and one for faculty memebers with accommodation at total of about 700-800 students.The accommodation is allocated on the basis of genuine need. One more hostel complex for foreign students is under construction.

	*Transport
	A fleet of 26 busses provides commuting facility for morning and evening students,coming from different parts of the twin cities.The routes of the buses cover almost entire twin cities locations.
