Anjimedu is a village panchayat in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, Chittoor district, and is located between the temple towns of Tirupati and Sri Kalahasti. It is 21 km from Tirupati and 16 km from Sri kalahasti. It comes under Yerpedu mandal.

It has lot of paddy fields. The main occupation is agriculture. There are more than 2,00 families and most of them are farmers.

Anjimedu is divided into four parts; Chinna Anjimedu, Pedda Anjimedu, Yerra Mittalu and krishnagiri colony.

Anjimedu contains a primary school, which was established in 1964. There is a school in sc and st colony also. It primarily depends up on agriculture and all people are always busy working in agriculture.

The major places to visit ;

  • Sivaalayam (Gurrappa swami temple), a famous temple established in ancient times. Here Lord siva is named as GURRAPPA. Many people come to here to see and gettin blessings form Lord Siva. Every Sunday different puja's are done to swami. People believe that visiting Lord siva will make their sorrows & sins away.
  • Sri Rama Mandiramu which is located at the center of village. Lord Sri Rama along with Seetha, Laxmana, Hanuman presented in the temple. Annually once “Sri Rama Navami uchavalu" is conducted for 11 days. There is a grand celebration on the last day of “uchavalu”, where everybody in village participates.
  • Srivarasiddi Vinayaka temple, It is near the Siva temple. Here is where all pujas are conducted.
  • Sri Puttallamma temple has existed for many years which is very recently reconstructed Temple. Now it has very new look. It is gramadevatha temple where big festival conducted once in every year.
