Hummus

Dear Mr. Shabaz, Please stop changing my changes in the article about the Hummus. Misplaced Pages is a place which people use to learn, so don't pull their legs and tell them lies. I know you are kind man, you don't to mislead wikipedia visitors. I just fixed few mistakes, for example that the ingredients of the Hummus were eaten by people in the ancient Palestine (4000 B.C.)d. You are a smart person and you know this is not true. the name "Palestine" had given in the British occupation of Israel from the Uthomainian occupation. have a good day! Luc Courchesne

I had noticed some time ago that the page about Montréal visual artist Luc Courchesne had vanished and it is only today that I have discovered that you were responsible. I believe the page should be restored. Firstly because Courchesne is a renowned artist. There is an article about him on French Misplaced Pages: http://fr.wikipedia.org/Luc_Courchesne. A Google search for "Luc Courchesne" comes up with 26,800 results. But mostly, as he was in New York City for the Québec-NewYork cultural event on September 11, 2001, he happened to catch on film the impact of the second plane on the WTC South tower. The resulting video is an important historical document as it shows not only the impact of the plane but also the aftermath; the duration is 23 minutes and it is available online on the Radio-Canada website. I discovered that a page bearing his name already exists on English Misplaced Pages: User:Panoramedia/Luc Courchesne. It took me a while to realize that it was not an article but his personal user page. Anyway, I feel the original article should be restored. I am not in any way related to Mr. Courchesne, I have never met him, never talked to him. But I am very interested in anything related to the events of 9/11 and he certainly was an important witness. Philadelphia Polish American Festival

Thank you, sir, for taking the following action on behalf of the subject page: "Hi. I've nominated Philadelphia Polish American Festival, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Misplaced Pages:Did you know."

Out goal in creating the Misplaced Pages entry for the Philly Polish American Festival was to use it as just one more way to help promote awareness and understanding of Polish culture, heritage and traditions -- not just for Polish-Americans, but people of all cultures.

Thank you for helping with this goal.

The deleted material was explained in section 7 of the talk page. it is all unsourced non-npov material about the man. This material was originally deleted nearly a month ago and was restored yesterday by someone i can only imagine is trying to do the right thing. I reverted this rollback, since it is restoring material critical about someone in a biography of a living person, which is unsourced - this is a big no-no in wikipedia. Please read: Misplaced Pages:Biographies_of_living_persons ViniTheHat (talk) 23:48, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Professor notability

Please check out WP:PROF for the guidelines on notability regarding articles on professors. Simply being a professor does not disqualify an article from A7. Nakon 21:37, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
