Talzhemir (legal name Manda) is a 3D and traditional media artist, a designer of computer games, and a writer. She began her career at Origin Systems, Inc., working on the Ultima series during the 90's. At the time, computer graphics were relatively primitive, and a new art editor was still being created especially for each project. Talzhemir was able to adapt her background in crafts such as beading to pixel art. Along with Denis Loubet and Daniel Bourbonnais, she was one of the industry's first game artists.
She is also one of the early paper games writers. She co-wrote the tabletop roleplaying games "Pocket Universe" and "Quicksilver".
Along with Felorin, she is the co-creator of Furcadia, one of the first multiplayer games on the Internet. She designed and did art for Tangent Online, which became Total Entertainment Network, and then eventually Pogo.com.
Talzhemir is the president of Ayluro, Inc., which makes software for the Mac and iPhone.
Talzhemir is also the developer of the Eagle solar cooker, a variant of the CooKit specifically designed for Americans. She is a longtime advocate of sustainable energy education.
