Jasson Gastrich talk archives

Greetings, Chuck,

Per WP:OWN, Jason does not "own" the talk page or archives related to his user page. When he blanked those pages, he removed not only his own writing, but writing posted by other people and licensed to Misplaced Pages. This is considered a form of vandalism, therefore Harvestdancer's actions were quite within Misplaced Pages policy.

Additionally, there is a current serious discussion of Jason's actions here at Misplaced Pages--said actions resulted from Jason's violation of a number of official Misplaced Pages policies, and the severity of his actions may warrant further sanctions if the behavior continues. The comments left on his talk page are part of the evidence that will be used to make future decisions if necessary, and removing that evidence would make a just decision much more difficult.

I do want to welcome you to Misplaced Pages, and to apologize if you feel like we've "bitten the newbie." Please Justin Eiler|contact me on my talk page and let me know if anyone's hastling you and if there's anything I can do to help. Justin Eiler 07:46, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
