Samish Island is an unincorporated community in Skagit County, Washington, United States. It lies on an island with the same name, which is located off the northwest coast of the Washington mainland. It is connected to the mainland by a system of dikes created in the early 20th century. Samish Island is considered part of the Inner San Juan Islands, along with Guemes, Vendovi, Lummi, Cypress, Sinclair, and Eliza Islands. It is located at 48°34′34″N 122°32′23″W / 48.57611°N 122.53972°W / 48.57611; -122.53972Invalid arguments have been passed to the {{#coordinates:}} function.

Samish Island was part of the ancestral homelands of, and was named after, the Samish Indians, a Coast Salish tribe of the Pacific Northwest.
