HiAsm (Template:Lang-ru) is a free application development environment for win32, Qt, wxWidgets, scripts and pages in PHP, html, and JavaScript, in addition to applications for devices based on Windows Mobile. The PDA is one such device.

HiAsm is a practical example of the implementation of the approach model-oriented architecture, also known as "the development of the model". The significance of this approach is abstracted from the platforms, architectures, hardware vendors, and system software.

When designing, the user does not require a knowledge of programming languages and features of the operating system, thus allowing the user to create applications by controlling their model using an intuitive graphical interface.

Packages

HiAsm has supplementary packages you can use for certain kinds of applications.

Delphi & FPC

The basic package that comes with the environment allows people to develop a small Windows applications using the components of the Internet, databases, graphics (GDI and OpenGL), extensive multimedia capabilities including sound, background programs, applets, control panels, libraries (DLL files), etc.

PocketPC

Like the previous package, allows you to develop applications, but under Windows CE, that is, for PDA and some smartphones. And the package is structured so that the scheme, collected under the PocketPC, virtually no change can be transferred to Delphi & FPC and vice versa, reducing the time as the very development of the program and its porting to other platforms.

WEB

As the name implies, this package allows you to develop applications for the WEB-server (the script language PHP) and client-side (JavaScript), using a markup language HTML. Distinctive feature of this package is that the generated code for the compiled pattern in almost equal in quality to what a developer could write by hand. Due to this, the package can also be used to automatically generate the template WEB-applications with subsequent manual editing.

FASM

Most of the package serves as an example and demonstration of the capabilities at the same time the shell, and therefore interest will most likely only programmers who wish to develop their own package. Allows you to write Win32-applications in pure assembler (Flat Assembler), using the components of the code insertion and links between them.

Qt

Package based on the Qt allows you to develop cross-platform applications. HiAsm is possible to run only through Wine.

WxWidgets

Package based on wxWidgets, as well as Qt, you can create cross-platform applications.
