East West University is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1996. It offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Its governing body is a board of directors whose current president is Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin.

East West University has formal collaboration agreements with some leading universities in the USA, among those are: Pace University (New York) Suffolk University (Boston) Southern Illinois University at Carbondale University of Luton, Bedfordshire, England University of Fukui, (UF) Japan
It has also entered into collaboration agreements with a number of other well-known universities in the USA, UK and Australia
