Orphaned non-free image File:CostumeCauldronLogo.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:CostumeCauldronLogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 04:35, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Costume Cauldron

The article Costume Cauldron has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails Notability test for companies. No significant coverage in reliable secondary sources. References are either from Primary source (PRWeb), simple listings that denote no notability, or un-related to the specific company in question.

While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.     Eclipsed   ¤     04:09, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for helping to improve Misplaced Pages! However, when an article is tagged for Proposed deletion, please do not remove the tag from the page without a comment or edit note regarding why you feel the deletion is not good for wikipedia. I've started a talk thread on the Talk page, you are welcome to discuss the page there. Thanks.     Eclipsed   ¤     04:55, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Michael David Nielsen

The article Michael David Nielsen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I'm proposing deletion because notability has not been really proven, especially for the amount of material listed in the article. Please feel free to fix up the article, and then remove this notice. Otherwise, the page will be deleted in about a week.

While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of IdeaConnection

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on IdeaConnection, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Misplaced Pages:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Top Jim (talk) 09:41, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

November 2010

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from IdeaConnection, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Top Jim (talk) 10:33, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

My apologies: you didn't remove the speedy tag, an administrator declined the speedy deletion. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Top Jim (talk) 10:36, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
