Pomegranate

Hi. I am sorry, wasn't trying to make a statement by moving the Israeli link. I just thought it would be useful to group the links that had something in common. I was also the editor who moved up the Judaism section (though a Zoroastrianism section should probably be added above that) because Judaism came before Christianity and Islam. I thought chronological usage of Pomegranates throughout history would make the article look better. I am thinking of adding a link showing where pomegranates originated (Iran), but I am looking for good reliable sources. The flower link is fine, but there really isn't that much information provided. I know that the information comes from a professor of botany from Tel-Aviv University, but is there another link with more information? It's a bit sparse. Maybe you can add another one? The picture is really nice, though. CreativeSoul7981 (talk) 04:34, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Pozol and Pozole

Sorry to bother you, but I see that you have edited the "pozole" article. I have been asked by the creator of the article on "pozol" to review and tidy it, but before I spend any time are you able to ell me the difference between them? Thanks. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 22:02, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Pozol is a fermented corn drink. It has other names like Tejate in Jalisco, but it seems that pozole is the term used in Chiapas and the Yucatan. You can see a pic of tejate at Thelmadatter (talk) 13:57, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Interesting...I was unaware of this...my own learning curve.  :-) Tejate is served in the markets here in Oaxaca...Its one of the few foods here (along with blood sausages and chapulines) that I'm not a big fan of.. haha --nsaum75 14:33, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I had to ask them myself about that. My Chiapan student didnt tell me that the Oaxacans had this too, but he admits that there is a kind of rivalry between the two states. I figure to let them go ahead and work the article under the name of pozol... then if it seems logical later, we can somehow merge info on tejate. Not a big fan either. I guess its one of these things you have to grow up with to appreciate.Thelmadatter (talk) 14:49, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Notice

If you continue to disrupt and make broad attacks against editors, as you have done at the PI Arbitration discussion, you may find yourself blocked or reported for disruptive behavior. You are not doing your side any favors. Consider yourself put on notice. Pencilsandcrayons (talk) 18:41, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Sockpuppet much? This kind of underhanded behavior is exactly why I stopped editing IP articles or contributing photos to things in the middle east. --nsaum75 18:43, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Really now? It seems like your comments there are being ignored and an admin even castigated you for your disruptive comments after it was decided Prop 3 was the consensus winner. I think you would be best served if you chose to edit somewhere where you can keep your POV in check. Just friendly advice. Pencilsandcrayons (talk) 01:22, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

complete

Yes, we are done with WP. They are now working on their semester projects which will be presentations. I will get back to tidying some of the articles up later, when the semester is done. Thanks!Thelmadatter (talk) 15:25, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
