Lisa Tucker starred in a broadway production of The Lion King. When she was 13 years old she auditioned for Star Search. She made it on the show, and eventually got to the finals. She did not win. She became the runner up to Tiffany Evans. In 2005, she auditioned for season 5 of American Idol. She auditioned with the same song she was famous for on Star Search, which was One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston. Simon Cowell said she was the best 16 year-old to ever audition for the show. She made it to the final 44, and the judges made a unanimous decision to put her through to the final 24. She is one of the front runners.
