Bosansko Krajište is name used in Ottoman Empire for a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina that was on the border of the Ottoman Empire, but not under it's firm control in period between 1392 and 1463.
Etimology
History
Battle of Bileća in 1388 was first battle of army of Ottoman Empire on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. When Ottoman Empire finally conquered whole territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1463, Bosansko Krajište was established as Bosnian Sanjak.
