"Eep" is an onomatopoeia sound most commonly associated with the Apple Macintosh computer system alert sound, "WildEep!" that was introduced with the System 7 Mac OS but removed in OS 9.

The expression (facial/emotional)/interjection/emotional reaction "Eep!" has made its way into pop culture and is used to express fear/fright, shock, and/or surprise.
