The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was low-budget film production about a family of cannibals in Texas, who abducted people stopping at their gas station. One of the main characters--Leatherface--killed his victims by assaulting them with a chainsaw. Based loosely, like the films Psycho and Silence of the Lambs, on the true story of the serial killer Ed Gein. The film was banned in Great Britain, Germany, and India.
