Template:Infobox CollegeFootballPlayer Prince Amukamara (born June 6, 1989) is an American football cornerback for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He is considered one of the top defensive prospects for the 2011 NFL Draft.
Early years
Amukamara attended Apollo High School in Glendale, Arizona. As a senior in 2006 he rushed for 2,106 yards and 24 touchdowns as a running back and 95 tackles and two interceptions as a defensive back.
Regarded as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Amukamara was listed as the No. 11 prospect from Arizona.
Amukamara is of Royal Nigerian descent.
College career
As a freshman in 2007, Amukamara played in eight games, recording 4 tackles. As a sophomore in 2008 he started three of 13 games, recording 32 tackles and a sack. As a junior in 2009 he was a first-team All-Big 12 selection after recording 60 tackles, two sacks, and five interceptions.
