Beechwoods Cemetery is a non-denominational cemetery located in New Rochelle, New York. The cemetery was incorporated in 1854.

Notable Internments

  • Ruth Chatterton, (1892 – 1961) an American actress, novelist and aviator who knew Amelia Earhart. Her cremated remains are interred in a niche in the Lugar Mausoleum (Section 11, Lot 303).
  • Ellabelle Davis, 1940's African-American Opera Singer
  • Robert Temple Emmet, Luitenant in the American Cavalry; U.S. Congressional Medal of Honor recipient.
