He moved to the United States following the 2006/2007 season and declared his intention to compete for the United States. In the 2007/2008 season, he failed to make it out of Eastern Sectionals, the final qualifying competition for the U.S. Championships. Following that season, he chose to skate for Austria again.

Viktor Pfeifer (born May 16, 1987 in Graz) is an Austrian figure skater. He is a five-time (2003, 2005-2006, 2009-2010) Austrian national champion. Pfeifer represented Austria at the 2006 Winter Olympics, where he placed 22nd.

He studies economics at the University of Delaware.
