Template:Big Brother endgame Big Brother Brasil 12 is the upcoming twelfth season of Big Brother Brasil which is schedule to premiere January 2012 on the Rede Globo television network.
The show is produced by Endemol Globo and presented by news reporter Pedro Bial. The season was officially confirmed since 2008 as part of a millionaire contract between international Endemol and Rede Globo, which guaranteed seasons until 2012. The upcoming seasons will be part of a new contract that will be signed in September 2011 and will ensure the renewal of show until 2016 or 2020.
The prize award will be R$1,500,000 with tax allowances.
Production
Cast
Casting and production started April 2011. Regional applications were due by April 15, 2011 until June 30, 2011. Starting on May 15, 2011 regional auditions will be held in 10 different cities all over Brazil, with the first being Porto Alegre. The process will end only on October 13, 2011 in Rio de Janeiro. National applications will be due by August 14, 2011 until October 31, 2011.
Semi-finalist interviews will be held in the third or fourth quarter of 2011 and the final casting interviews will take place in early December 2011.
