GAA

Due to a declining population Killimer has no full Gaelic Athletic Association-club anymore. Most seniors now play with Kilrush GAA, only the youth-teams fly the flag of Killimer GAA. Despite the present decline Killimer GAA still can boast about winning the Clare Senior Football Championship in 1896.
