Warnings

Note: Always remember to substitute user warning templates. For help on user warnings, see the WikiProject on User Warnings.
Older warnings may have been removed, but are still visible in the page history.

June 2010

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial content to biographical articles, as you did at Amy Robach and John Roberts. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Misplaced Pages policy. In addition, creating sockpuppets to evade blocks is also a violation. If you continue to violate any of Misplaced Pages policies, you will be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. Fourviz (talk) 18:38, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Tanya.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Tanya.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Misplaced Pages's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:55, 31 July 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 21:55, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Dipsomania, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Pinethicket (talk) 11:31, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Dipsomania. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. –] (] · ]) 22:24, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

November 2010

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Misplaced Pages page, as you did at John Roberts (journalist). Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Misplaced Pages policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. –] (] · ]) 00:28, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

February 2011

This is your last warning; the next time you violate Misplaced Pages's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Misplaced Pages page, as you did at John Roberts (journalist), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Flyguy33 (talk) 05:17, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

June 2011

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Please be aware of Misplaced Pages's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Misplaced Pages page, as you did to Nacho Vidal with this edit, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Misplaced Pages:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. Logan Talk 01:26, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Dipsomania ‎. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Pinethicket (talk) 14:09, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Reverting Jerry Butler's Entry

Please don't revert the Jerry Butler entry again, unless you can find a reliable source for the information about him working at an adult movie theater called the "Blue Pussycat".

I've done extensive research online and there is no information about such an establishment existing in Scranton, PA.

The only references that I can find online to the Blue Pussycat were taken from the unverified (and seemingly erroneous) information that has been in Jerry's Misplaced Pages entry for the last year or so.

If you revert it again without citing a reliable source, it will be taken as vandalism.
