In human communication, in particular, in journalism, gatekeeping is the process through which ideas and information are filtered for publication. Gatekeeping occurs at all levels of the media structure - from a reporter deciding which sources are chosen to include in a story to editors deciding which stories are printed, or even covered. An example of a gatekeeper would be Amy Goodman of Democracy Now. She is a 'Left Gatekeeper' meaning that she will only let a story go so far while giving the semblance of having an open discussion. She will not give full exposure to the research being done regarding the 9/11 event because to do so would expose the government's engineering of the entire episode. She serves to keep the masses in check by giving them bits and pieces to chew on while keeping the meat away from them. If she lets in a Truth teller she will be sure to have him debunked in order to keep the government's official story alive. An example would be when she let David Ray Griffin on the show but rather than have a legitimate interview with him she subjected him to a debate with a disinformation agent. Pacifica radio, for whom she appears,is funded by the Ford Foundation, whom we need to thank for many of the world's ills. They are a prime proponent of the NWO.
