We've had a problem with an editor using multiple IPs and usernames using those identities to abuse consensus. ]. Rather than blocking the IP addresses an ArbCom member sugested it'd be better to sprotect the articles that he edits. The intent is to get him to stick with one identity. It's not an ideal soultion, but the best I know of. We should keep the semi-protection on for only short times, but hopefully it'll help. -] 17:34, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Rather than blocking the IP addresses an ArbCom member sugested it'd be better to sprotect the articles that he edits. The intent is to get him to stick with one identity.
