Hi. Please bear in mind that one of the reasons for user essays, is that etiquette demands that they should not be edited by others without discussion. See ]. Thanks!
Thanks Puffin. Well Russia is the biggest country on the planet. These districts combined which I've started today are likely the size of several Europes. It should not have taken 10 years to get them started so I see it as a must start, however stubby. At least they are now in the process of being started and in a good place to build upon. They are have articles on Russian wiki, next stage is population/area and maps, gradually.♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:34, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, I'm a noobie! regarding http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/d-zone
being a total plank what is it you need me to do? I looked at the link (Referencing for beginners) but couldn't see what I was asked to do? "Please use inline citations"
thanks

- Inline citations let the reader know where the point you are making came from. For example, if I said: "Examples are good." With no inline citation, but there was a reference, people would want to be directed to the reference after each claim to verify that it's true.
So, by using inline citations, I can do this: Examples are great.<ref>www.example.com</ref> {{Reflist}}
This would show up like this:
Examples are great.
Make sure you place the {{reflist}} template underneath the references header. You only need to place it there as it automatically makes a list of all of the references you have included in your citations. Notice that when you click that citation, it directs you to the suitable reference (in this case www.example.com) to make the article easier to navigate. If you need any more help or are still confused, just ask. Thank you. Puffin 19:54, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Right, I think I understand, so where "essex" is mentioned, link to it, ditto others. I also got a message about my username, what's that all about? Diversemedia (talk) 20:07, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- May I also note that Facebook is not a reliable source. See WP:VERIFY. Yes, your username seems to be promotional. I google searched "Diverse Media." It seems to represent a company. If you do not change your username, you may be blocked from editing. Please make a request at WP:CHU. Puffin 20:08, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
OK, I did a search for diverse media, I am NONE of those people or companies. I am self-employed tho and I do use that name but it's not incorporated or registered as such Diversemedia (talk) 20:17, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- However, it is still in violation of the username policy. If you refuse to change it, you will be blocked from editing. Puffin 20:18, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
how can I be in violation if i'm not promoting me, or anyone I know or anything I am associated with my username?Diversemedia (talk) 20:20, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
- According to the username policy, you should be encouraged to change your username as it is misleading and could be mis-interpreted. Please change it, just to not confuse anyone. Puffin 20:30, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
Kelsey Grammer "blind date"
This edit tried to disambiguate "blind date" and mistakenly chose the tv series. I see you were using Dab solver. Just a FYI. --Javaweb (talk) 15:39, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Javaweb
- Must have been a mistake, I assumed it because it says "is an American actor and comedian." So I thought it was going to talk about a US TV series. Puffin 15:43, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation revert
I reverted your recent moves per WP:DABNAME since there are no primary articles. —ˈtɒdləˈtɒdɪ 00:16, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
Yusef Khan
Hey Puffin, have you forgotten you've started to review Yusef Khan and put it on hold...about two weeks ago? You wouldn't mind addressing my corrections? Thank you. GSorby - Talk! 11:10, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:Club SpongeBob.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Club SpongeBob.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:46, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
User:Kudpung/Advice for RfA candidates
Hi. Please bear in mind that one of the reasons for user essays, is that etiquette demands that they should not be edited by others without discussion. See WP:User pages. FWIW, there is no specific mention in policy whether the RfA questions are optional or not, and this remains a bone of contention, and one which WP:RFA2011 hope to get clarified. If you review the research we have done for WP:RFA2011/QUESTIONS, you'll find that not answering questions invariably results in pile-on oppose !votes.
