My RfA

Thank you for your support in my request for adminship. I'm delighted that the RfA succeeded with a final consensus of 52/17/7, and receiving comments including having 'excellent potential to become a great moderator', and I am now an administrator. It did however only just pass, and I shall do my very best to rectify any of my errors, including the general belief that I should do more article work. Hitler

If it sounds anti-Hitler that's either because of the subject matter (there's not much positive to be said about him, albeit of course it should be in NPOV wording) or because of the previous text. I didn't change that much:

• I included the Communists among the banned parties, removed the accusation against the SPD and combined all into one sentence.
• I changed "was growing into an independent power of its own" (which is a bit fuzzy and not actually accurate - the SA were a potential threat but not yet a power of its own) into "As the SA's demands for political and military caused much anxiety among the populace in general and especially among the military" (which includes the actual debates "pofessional military vs. paramiliatary SA" and the worries of the populace).

No, no, a vandalism warning is inappropriate if you've apologised and anyway it was an error. But I'm puzzled how you came to think it was a good idea in the first place? I've had others fix obvious vandalism before, but to my user page, not Talk. More generally, the particular circumstance is that ZyX edits on a mobile phone from a part of the world with poor connectivity. It's a painful process, but he's exactly the sort of editor WP literally can't get enough of – both talented and highly knowledgeable of facts and views that are systemically under-represented on WP (and in European/US media). Please stop to think that not everybody has the access you do, but this doesn't make others' contributions less important (indeed the very opposite, proportionally speaking). cheers, JackyR 17:42, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Foundry model

The article is coming along. Do you think it is too technical with references to manufacture process? Words like wafer, photomask, etc. I don't know whether to just wikilink them or rewrite to remove them. (I'm about to go look for an article on IC manufacture that I can add to see also, thta may help). Also, the Ongoing issues section at the bottom probably needs some work, but again I'm not sure what to do about it. RJFJR 23:18, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
