Race for Life is a fundraising event that has been held annually since 1994.

Race for Life is a race in which only women take part. The money raised by participants goes toward Cancer Research UK, the major supporter of breast cancer research in the UK. There are many individual events all across the UK; in 2006, for example, 230 Race for Life events are planned.

Race for Life is the UK's biggest women-only fundraising event.
