Miles Harrison is the principal rugby union commentator for British television network Sky Sports. After obtaining a degree in Radio studies at City University London he found work in the early 1990s working on BBC Radio, commentating on rugby union and also occasional football matches. He was also part of the commentary team for BBC radio's coverage of the Wimbledon tennis tournament each summer.
Upon moving to Sky in 1994, Harrison has covered three British and Irish Lions tours, five Heineken Cup finals and was named the 2007 Guinness Rugby Union Journalist of the Season. He has also been a regular commentator on England internationals including matches at the Six Nations Championships.
In 2007, Harrison and his regular co-commentator Stuart Barnes were loaned out to ITV Sport to cover the Rugby World Cup..
For the 2011 Rugby World Cup both Miles Harrison and Stuart Barnes have been hired by Sky Television in New Zealand to commentator the event along with the current SkyTV crew.
