- While forging an award is rather unethical, Megaman Zero has almost complete control of his userpage. I suppose that without Davenbelle permission to change it Megaman shouldn't keep the sig, but....
- I will not edit his user page again. However, he should not simply delete legitimate discussion from his talk page.
- I have restored the posts he deleted, again, and have expressed agreement with your comments there. Thanks.

I don't know much about this user, but he appears to have some problems with the Kurdistan-related articles and categories. It's somewhat understandable depending on his political background, but he doesn't seem to be good at expressing himself, which has caused some problems. Aucaman 12:40, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

Batman, Turkey
Please have a read of WP:NPOV. The BBC did not hold a census regarding kurds. They made a claim without official basis. Thats why it is just a claim no matter how likely it may be true. --Cool Cat 20:36, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- "Official" sources are not the only possible sources. For example, there's the source I provided that you removed . And, of course, the claim is obviously true; SE Turkey is full of Kurds . --Moby 07:58, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Moby, thanks for your comments. I removed the The Guardian article from the 'external links' section as it isn't an article on Batman, but on the Kurdish - Turkish dilemma in general, with the streetname changes in Batman as an illuminative example. As such I don't think it should remain in Batman's external links section, but rather in the section 'The Kurdish Issue in Turkey' of the article Kurds. I'll place it there right away.--Hippalus 09:23, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, makes sense to me. --Moby 09:27, 13 March 2006 (UTC) (off to check it out)
Hello Moby. Thank you for the comment. There is no doubt that Batman is a predominantly Kurdish city - of course under the condition that you accept the existance of Kurds. Even Turkey's current governemnt under the leadership of PM Recep Tayyip Erdoğan recognises the existance of Kurds. So it seems rather odd that Wiki should write its a BBC claim - in fact only the mos extreme Turkish nationalists keep denying the existance of Kurds (that they sometime label "Mountain Turks") . Bertilvidet 17:41, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- It would seem that the Turkish Nationalists here would like to redirect Kurd-->Turk. I'll keep an eye on the Batman articles and see how it goes. It seems to me that the Kurds will get a bit more of the world's attention in the future due to their part in the Iraq situation. --Moby 10:34, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Indeed, and that should not surprise us. Fortunately the political climate is changing significantly in Turkey these years, so less and less people will argue against Kurdishness. Any article dealing with some kind of Kurdishness need indeed an open eye. Bertilvidet 16:18, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Newroz
A rather bitter debate is going on about the articles Norouz and Newroz. It would be great if someone fresh to the problem would weigh in. Bertilvidet 22:15, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
