The station has a single platform on a single track branch. There is a pedestrian level crossing to reach the other side of the line. The platform is only four cars long.

- Route 545 - east to Chatswood via Dundas Valley, Eastwood, Macquarie University, Macquarie Centre, west to Parramatta
Telopea is also serviced by NightRide service N61 to Carlingford and Town Hall via Strathfield.
