2010 (MMX) will be a common year starting on Friday of the Gregorian calendar. It is expected to be pronounced with two-digit intervals, as "twenty ten" (20-10), as were years prior to and including 1999. This would end the current 21st century pronunciation preference, "two thousand ____". (See Year pronunciation). However, it is not improper to pronounce 2010 as "two thousand ten", as many people might still do so and are pronouncing it that way right now.
