Skyfall (2012) is the 23rd James Bond film, produced by EON Productions for MGM and Columbia Pictures. The film is due for release on 26 October 2012.

Plot

James Bond's loyalty to M comes into question when MI6 is attacked. Bond must seek out and eliminate the threat while dealing with the consequences of M's past actions. It has been confirmed that the events of Skyfall have nothing to do with Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace.

The cast of Skyfall was officially announced at a press conference held at the Corinthia Hotel in London on 3 November 2011.
