Temple Run is a video game developed by Imangi Studios. It is currently released for only iOS systems, including the iPhone and the iPad. The game centers around Guy Dangerous and other unlockable characters who are explorers who steal an idol from an ancient temple. Malignant temple spirits then pursue the explorer out of the temple, thus initiating his or her "run." The object of the game is to run as far as possible by avoiding obstacles, which include low overhangs, chasms, and the creatures chasing the player. The player may also collect coins and use these coins in the game's "store" to purchase upgrades and perks, and unlock new characters and wallpapers.
