Many pay phones are within view of surveillance systems due to the high amount of vandalism they tend to endure; if this is the case those tapes will be reviewed. Currently the law requires a record kept of those tapes for 90 days. Those who are found responsible for the multiple calls being made to the team 990 station are currently facing charges of harassment, stalking and slander, at the moment there are more than 50 complaints pending against those responsible. In addition those responsible when found guilty will be required to reimburse the team 990 station for lost air time as well as damages that have been incurred by several sponsors dropping there contracts. In addition to these charges those responsible will be required to reimburse the Montreal Police Department for any charges they have incurred in the investigation of this matter.
