Jammu Tawi (JAT) is a Railway station in Jammu, in India.It is the largest railway station in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is very well connected with the major cities of India such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Tirunelveli, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Patna, Lucknow, Varanasi, Vadodara, Gorakhpur, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Guwahati by rail.
The second longest running train in India Himsagar Express that goes till Kanya Kumari, Tamil Nadu in 70 hours, originates from here.

Old Jammu Station
Before the building of Jammu Tawi station, there was an old station which had train services to Sialkot Junction, (now in Pakistan) before partition. The 27 mile line has not been revived till now because of the Kashmir dispute. In 2000, much of that railway station was demolished to make way for an art centre.
