Proposed deletion of Claudia Anderson
The article Claudia Anderson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Subject apparently fails GNG, no significant coverage I can find of her.
While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Nuujinn (talk) 16:11, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Thank you
Hey John,
Thank you very much for reverting the vandalism at Michael Eric Dyson. Like you, I am busy in real life, so I don't check WP every day. How you found that IP's foolery within five minutes of insertion – most serendipitous!
Best wishes,

John, I can see that you reverted the deletion of the Gentleman's Agreement and Sundown Towns. The book "Lies Across America" is available on Google Books. At page 383, you will find the passage regarding Larry Abbott. Abbott's alleged statement is unsupported hearsay from 63 years ago. The book itself provides no proof of the statement. Anything written in a work of "non-fiction" becomes a fact worthy of an entry in an encyclopedia? It may be a fact that the passage is in the book (indeed, the book says what it says) but it is not necessarily a fact that such a sign was ever installed. Also, it is not entirely clear to a Misplaced Pages reader that Abbott's claim comes from the book. It is particularly egregious given the allegation in the book to include such an entry in my view. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mapmann (talk • contribs) 04:13, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited 1535 in poetry, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bocaccio (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
